Diwali Celebrations

After our APDA family of Users, Carers, Staff, Management Committee and Volunteers' celebration of Eid ul Fitr, Eid ul Adha, Baisakhi Harvest festival, Holi and the Buddhist festivals, APDA today celebrated a very popular festival of Diwali or Deepavali.

The occasion was graced by mayors from two London boroughs and one of them delightfully participated in APDA's Qawaali session staged by our in-house 'Qawaals'.

The event was a great success and APDA would like to thank all who participated in today's event, with special mention to the Mayors of LB Brent and LB Harrow. Our thanks also to our Music Maestro Naraynn-ji for his expert music coordination as well as joining in our Qawaali session.

Our next major celebrations will be our 30 years anniversary celebrations and then the Christmas celebrations.
